Before assuming his current position, Mr. Münchau co-founded and served as editor-in-chief of FT Deutschland. He holds Master’s degrees in mathematics and journalism.

Mark recently joined SimCorp and brings significant buy- and sell-side industry experience from 17 years in product management, derivatives trading and processing, and regulatory change.

In SimCorp, Mark is responsible for driving the product strategy for the instrument coverage in SimCorp Dimension, including the Trade Manager, derivatives roadmap, Xpress Instruments, and valuation. Mark holds an MBA from London Business School.

Dave joined SimCorp in January 2010 as Product Marketing Manager for front office. He holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of British Columbia (Canada), a Diploma in International Marketing and Management from the Copenhagen Business School and an MBA in International Business from Canada, McGill University. Prior to joining SimCorp, Dave gained 15 years of experience in business strategy and product management/marketing as a management consultant in Canada, a small business co-owner in Denmark, and 10 years working for Navision/Microsoft in various corporate roles.

Since joining Professional Services, Martin has continued to focus on this area with an increased focus on globalization.

Igor is based in London and responsible for SimCorp’s Trade Processing solution set and strategy. Prior to joining SimCorp, Igor worked as an Investor Market Manager at Citibank’s Securities and Fund Services. He joined Citi from Markit, where he held Business Development positions for the Credit Data and Portfolio Valuations service, and was responsible for the Alliance Programme in EMEA. He started his career at Thomson Reuters, where he was Fixed Income real-time content Product Manager for six years.

Lars, M.Sc. in Mathematics and Economics, joined SimCorp in 1999 as part of SimCorp‘s special implementation team, acting as the Domain Manager for Performance since 2003 and heading up the middle office team in Product Management since 2012. Lars is an active member of both national and international networks of Performance professionals, and has since 2009 been the Danish representative in the GIPS governance structure. He has utilized his special knowledge within performance at several SimCorp Dimension implementation projects.

Before joining SimCorp in 2005, Carsten gained five years of industry experience through consulting leading German financial institutions. Carsten holds a degree in economics from the University of Mannheim, Germany.

Uffe has been with SimCorp for 17 years and has recently moved to a Solution Architect position. Previously, he has been working eight years for the Accounting Domain in Copenhagen. He has also held positions in implementation, both in the Nordic and the North American market units. Recently, Uffe has been driving and coordinating the development of IFRS 9 functionality in SimCorp Dimension, and is currently focusing on enhancing SimCorp’s Hedge Accounting solution.

Matthew has played a lead role in the recent development of this module and has over 14 years’ experience in the software industry.

Howie is an industry veteran having undertaken his first financial IT project in 1987, working for Coopers and Lybrand Associates implementing Quasar at Henderson Investors. Since then he has held a number of product management roles in the banking and technology sectors, including stints at Thomson Financial, GFI, Dealogic, and most recently Citigroup. He is SimCorp’s product manager for connectivity and data management.

Dr. Andreas Schäfer

Andreas came to SimCorp in 2004 with a technical background (telecommunications, databases, PhD in computer science) and started in the reporting and interface department of SimCorp CE. In 2006, he joined the SimCorp Regulatory Center of Excellence, focusing on the monitoring of regulatory requirements, the design and creation of regulatory services and solutions, and the support of regulatory-oriented implementation projects. Since 2010, Andreas’ main working area is Solvency II, joining about half a dozen implementation projects, both as project member and project leader.
